ROSA LUX

Producer, songwriter and DJ Rosa Lux started her career in 2011, when she released her debut album “Monsters”. The record was nominated for a Steppeulv, the Danish Music Awards, a Gaffa Prize and the Danish DJ Awards, and the single *Min Klub Først” with Alberte and Josefine Winding earned her a Gold Record. 

Since then she has made a huge amount of remixes, and in her own name she released the Remix series “Superheroes – Les Grand Danois”, where the a-side was dedicated to musical heroes from before 1990 and the b-side to today’s favorite artists and bands. Her second album is due in the fall.

Rosa has since been on a trip around the conservatory to sharpen her pop pen and that lead to severalt co-writes, where “Den Eneste” on Benjamin Hav’s Debut album, which also earned her a gold record. Her latest releases are “Introvert”, a collab with Kinck, and “Gylden” a collab with Clara Sofie

As a DJ, she has played in Denmark and abroad since 2001 and has been playing at major events lige the Royal state visit to Moscow during the opening of the film festival 35MM I 2011, The Berlinale in Berlin. The venice Biennale, where she payed with Peaches at an old airport as well as corporate, private and underground club gigs. 

Rosa was part of the controversial performance & DJ collective Dunst. She was on the panel of taste judges in the program Smagsdommerne on DR2 for 3 seasons from spring 2009. And she was a member of the curatorial group for the electronic Copenhagen festival STRØM for 5 years, where she booked experimental and tone-setting electronic names.
