BRI (they/them), also known professionally as Visual, is a Trinidad-born artist and half of the Queer West Indian curation group FunkyReggaeHouseParty. A versatile DJ and curator, Visual blends Caribbean sounds like Jab Jab, soca, and dancehall with genres such as Jersey club, Hip Hop, R&B, and house music. Advocating for inclusivity in the music and club scene, Visual has performed at top NYC venues and co-curated a prominent Brooklyn Pride party called SORBAE. Beyond music, they find inspiration in nature, enjoying activities like hiking. With aspirations to open their own Queer West Indian bar/club, Visual continues to break down barriers and amplify the voices of the Queeribbean community.
