The Devil Said Jump

“Called to The Devil and The Devil Said Jump”

The Devil Said Jump is a folk band from Chicago. The project of Emily Franke (she/her/hers) and Megan Loveless (she/her/hers), the pair of songwriters are making room for queer stories and their gut-wrenching harmonies. Inspired by artists like MUNA, Loretta Lynn, and the Lumineers, the duo blends folk, rock, and country sounds into their own sort of sad living room pop. Since coming together in June of 2023, The Devil Said Jump has played venues all around Chicago including Uncommon Ground, the Golden Dagger, The Bughouse theater, the IO theater, the Annoyance theater, Burlington Bar, Dorothy’s, and more. Their debut record “Renaissance Man” is out everywhere now.
